It is extremely refreshing and more so inspiring to speak with a pro athlete who has equal passion and dedication to something outside of their daily profession.

Last week I ran into Jan Gunnar Solli during a photo shoot at PH-D (Dream Hotel) and we got to chatting about music and his up coming track with Sherry St. Germain. He gave me and the others in the room a sneak peek of the track that will be released sometime in next few months. What definitely stood out was the power of Sherry’s voice and well it worked with the track.

Now I won’t pretend to be the biggest EDM fan but I can appreciate music when it is done well. I am looking forward to hearing the final cut when it is released and will continue to be a loyal NYRB and DJ Solli fan.

Yesterday officially kicked off football season here in NYC and it started off with a Thierry Henry goal 3 minutes in. But that wasn’t the only badass part of the night. Believe me, I am no VIP but yesterday my girl Daniela S. hooked me up with an experience everyone needs to try once. That “F” next to the section number in my tickets above meant my butt was sitting “FIELD” level. Yep! No stands for this guy. Instead, it was all you could eat and drink awesomeness while sitting arms reach of the action. Court side at the Knicks has nothing on this.
